Thomas E. (Jene) Hedden, B.C.D., M.S.W., L.C.S.W., holds Master's Degrees from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. He has additional graduate study in Healthcare Management from Bellarmine University. He is a Fellow in the acclaimed Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Mr. Hedden served as Director of Psychiatry for Norton Health Care at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky and has more than forty years of experience in the field of psychotherapy.  Additionally, Hedden is an adult Bible study class leader of many years. He remains involved in a number of community organizations serving in a variety of leadership positions.
 

 
Margaret (Mimi) Welter, M.S.W, L.C.S.W., is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with  Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, completed in 1987.  Ms. Welter began her career in Maryland where she worked on an in-patient psychiatric unit  followed by work in the Social Work Department at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Her experience in Kentucky includes providing services in a community mental health setting, as a clinician in emergency psychiatry at the University of Louisville Hospital and as a research assistant working on bipolar disorder.  She joined Shelby Counseling Associates in 2005. 
 
Pamela Andrews, Ed.D., is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist.  She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kentucky in elementary and special education and completed her Master's degree at Eastern Kentucky University in Guidance Counseling and Psychometry.  Dr. Andrews completed her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Louisville.  Her pre-doctorate internship was completed at Interact Behavioral Healthcare/Mt. Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and her post-doctorate internship was completed at Raskin and Associates in Louisville.  Dr. Andrews has previously worked as a special education teacher, school guidance counselor, and mental health therapist.  She is the former director of The Albany Clinic in Alabama.  In addition to her psychology practice with Shelby Counseling Associates, Dr. Andrews is employed with Shelby County Public Schools.        
    George A. Dunn, M.S.S.W., M.R.E., L.C.S.W. hold's a Master's Degree in social Work from the University of Louisville and a Master's in Religious Education from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Since 1972, he has served on the staff of Norton Psychiatric Center at Norton Hospital in a variety of capacities including Coordinator of Outpatient Services.  Dunn remains part-time at Norton in addition to his practice with Shelby Counseling Associates. 
 

Rachelle Felty, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., was graduated from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville in 1990.  She has worked at Norton Healthcare for more than sixteen years.  Mrs. Felty's experience includes inpatient social work and management of Norton's Inpatient Unit.  She has also served as Program Supervisor of the Geriatric Partial Hospitalization Prgram.  She has spent much of her career working in the area of Geriatrics and has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Currently, Mrs. Felty is providing outpatient therapy for adults of all ages.
 
 
Pamela J.B. Luce, L.P.C. earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, North Carolina and a Masters of Education Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisville. Ms. Luce has served as a Career Counselor with the Department of the Army, and a Trauma Counselor/Victims’ Advocate. She is currently Executive’s Staff Advisor with the Kentucky Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Ms. Luce serves as Secretary of the National Association of State Women Veteran Coordinators and an Affiliate Member of the National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs and of the American Psychological Association.
